The library will receive a limited number of the most commonly requested federal tax forms and instructions.
Printed copies of the New Jersey state tax forms are no longer sent to libraries.
The Reference Department can assist you in locating and printing out federal or state tax forms as needed.

Federal Tax Forms and Publications
There are a number of ways to access federal tax forms.
will use the redesigned Form 1040 that was released last year. Many people will only need to file
Form 1040 and no schedules. However, if your return is more complicated (for example you claim
certain deductions or credits, or owe additional taxes) you will need to complete one or more of the
new Form 1040 Schedules. For information and instructions related to the revised 1040 form and schedules go to:
New Jersey Tax Forms and Publications
There are a number of ways to access New Jersey state tax forms. New Jersey no longer mails
Income Tax forms except for the New Jersey Resident Return (NJ-1040). If you filed a paper return
last year, you can expect to receive your new tax booklet after the first week of January. You may request
a return if you have not received one after February 16, 2021. There is no need to wait for a booklet.

New Jersey Tax Assistance:
Per the NJ Division of taxation website on 1/13/2021- “The Trenton Regional Information Center
is the only location open to the public and service is by appointment only. All other offices are closed
to the public at this time. Visitors must wear a face covering, follow social distancing guidelines,
and complete a Covid-19 Health Assessment Questionnaire before receiving any in-person service.”
